What on earth are you talking about ???? There was plenty of software that did these things and well before 2009. e.g. PC Anywhere allowed you to "share screen, transfer files or more" (share mouse, share keyboard, work collaboratively, telework, etc) since the early 1990's (Yes, I was using it a lot back then).
